Unlicensed drivers under the age of 18 have the option of taking their Driver’s Permit Test online. The flexibility and convenience of this option means you can skip the congestion, long lines, and waiting at your local DHSMV office. Instead, you’ll be able to relax and pass the test from the comfort of your own home.
To take the online test, you will need to provide your full name, date of birth, and the last five digits of your social security number or a valid Florida ID card number. If the system determines that you are eligible, you can continue to load the exam. You have 60 minutes to take the exam and will receive one question at a time. You must answer 40 of the 50 questions correctly in order to pass.
Immediately after passing the exam, our system reports the result electronically to the Florida DHSMV system and you will be given a confirmation page that contains your testing information. We recommend you print that page and bring it with you to the driver license / tax collector’s office just in case they have any trouble finding your test result. As long as you have also completed the TLSAE course, you will be eligible to get your Florida learner’s license.
